Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a detail-oriented and highly responsive HR Onboarding Specialist to support our Disaster Recovery and Emergency Response line of business. This individual will play a critical role in onboarding new hires who are being deployed to support natural disaster response efforts throughout the country. This position requires a strong sense of urgency, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage high-volume onboarding activities with a 24-hour turnaround time. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable navigating HR systems, employee documentation, compliance requirements, and onboarding logistics. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and comfortable operating in an environment where hiring volume can fluctuate significantly based on disaster response needs. They understand the importance of speed and accuracy and can effectively manage onboarding activities while ensuring an exceptional employee experience.
Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience in HR, onboarding, recruiting coordination, or human resources administration Experience processing high-volume onboarding activities Familiarity with I-9 verification and new hire compliance requirements Experience working within an HRIS platform Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment Experience supporting large-scale hiring initiatives or workforce ramp-ups Experience within staffing, disaster recovery, emergency response, logistics, or field operations environments Experience using applicant tracking systems and employee management tools Knowledge of onboarding compliance best practices and employment documentation requirements
