Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.
• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience: Knowledge of chest tubes is preferred. Dysrhythmia training is preferred.
Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.
Unit Details: Patient ratios are 4:1 with cath recovery, 6:1 maximum ratio, and at times may be stretched to 7:1. PCTs are available on day and night shifts; unit clerks are available on day shift. Remote telemetry monitors and Alaris pumps are used. Procedures include chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: Agency staff float first and may float to Ortho/Med-Surg.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
